Deaf & hard of hearing

As a Certified Sign Language Interpreter, I have been working with the Deaf and HOH community for over ten years. I first was exposed to sign language in high school, and decided to major in ASL Interpretation at Northeastern in college. There I had many Deaf friends and colleagues, learned about Deaf culture, and was trained to become an interpreter. I worked for five years as a Certified Sign Language Interpreter before going back to school for counseling. I am looking forward to seeing Deaf and HOH clients and their families as a therapist using sign language.
